Hey friends, I’m Patricia founder and CEO of Makula Organics, a skincare and haircare brand that focuses on and celebrates African skincare and afro haircare.
I started this brand because I noticed that most of the products available were either too harsh or too mild for our skin and hair. They either stripped away our natural oils or left behind a greasy residue. They either irritated or had no effect at all and many alternated our skin tones and hair texture.
I embarked on a journey to craft a product line that would be gentle yet effective for our skin and hair. Products that would be made with natural and organic ingredients that are beneficial for our health and wellness. Products that would be created with respect for our environment and community.
We are a brand that is tailored to African skin and hair types. A brand that uses natural and organic ingredients that are good for us and the planet.
